Description
Legal Aid Ontario funds legal clinics that provide free services for people with low income. Community-based clinics help people in their local area with the following types of legal issues:
Social assistance, e.g., Ontario Works (OW), Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP), Canada pension matters, etc.
Housing matters, e.g., disputes between tenants and landlords, evictions, etc.
Various employment matters, e.g., wrongful dismissal, workers compensation, etc.
Some immigration matters
Opening hours:
Monday to Friday (except Wednesdays) 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Wednesdays: 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Appointments are required.
