You are pregnant and you do not know if you want to continue your pregnancy? This important decision is not easy. If you decide to terminate your pregnancy, you have access to abortion services on the Island of Montreal. These services are offered by the Montreal Abortion Appointment Center. The Center helps you find an appointment in a clinic: free of charge, in less than 2 weeks, near you, with respect and confidentiality
To be eligible for free abortion services, you must have one of the following documents:
A valid health insurance card
An immigration certificate
Any other document that gives you access to health care in Quebec
If you do not have at least one of these documents, you can still benefit from the services, but you will be charged a fee.
